THe fight

Ky is a fighter. Not in sport, but in life. Coming from a life of gang violence, poverty and the uncertainty if 

he’ll see another day, boxing was the escape. We had talks off record about his upbringing and it 

immediately gave me the idea of capturing him in the ring. Ky has seen more in his early age than most 

have in a lifetime. From being stabbed multiple times and homeless to building a career as a model and 

actor.

This project was a visual representation of his perseverance and the healing work he’s done in the 

shadows.
